SVCS is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). WASC is a part of the most prestigious school accrediting organizations. Being accredited by WASC confirms the accomplishments and direction of SVCS and will assure our graduates the opportunity to be considered by any university in the United States.
Since its inception in 1997, Saddleback Valley Christian High School has had its curriculum approved by the University of California system. For a course to be UC-approved, a school must submit curriculum, textbook information, and other supplemental materials for review. The process used by the UC system to evaluate SVCS’ courses is the same as that used to evaluate all California high schools, including public and charter schools.

Advanced Placement (AP) Program
The AP program at SVCS goes beyond the rigors of Honors courses, adhering to college level standards set by the College Board located in Princeton, New Jersey. For a listing of AP classes currently offered, please refer to the current Jr/Sr High Curriculum Guide. All SVCS AP classes have been authorized by College Board.
SVCS is proud to hold membership in both the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) and the California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) – organizations which promote high standards of scholarship and community service for California high school students and junior high students, respectively.
As stated on the web site for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the organization’s mission “is to enable Christian educators and schools worldwide to effectively prepare students for life.” By virtue of its membership in ACSI, SVCS avails itself of many outstanding resources for our students and faculty.
