Tuition and Fees

Variable Tuition

SVCS is please to offer a "variable tuition" program to our families.  The purpose of the variable tuition program is to make Christian education accessible to more families, by providing a reduced rate for those who cannot afford the full cost of education.  We base reduced rates on each family’s specific financial situation. Variable tuition is a need-based financial aid structure – similar to those used by other private schools, colleges, and universities. Any family in need of assistance may apply. Factors like income, family circumstances, and the cost of living in the South Orange County region are reviewed by a third party, FACTS Grant & Aid.  Each request is then reviewed by the SVCS Financial Aid Committee and assistance is awarded based upon the range that has been approved by the Board of Directors.  By making Saddleback Valley Christian School more financially accessible, we have the opportunity to utilize our exceptional staff and available classroom space.  (For additional information about variable tuition, please click here for an FAQ.)

The following schedule is the variable range at each school level for the 2017-18 school year*:

Jr. Kindergarten

Jr. High

$479 - $1,196

High School

*Rates do not include the enrollment fee of $950 which must be paid in order to secure a spot

*Starting with the 3rd enrolled student, families will pay the multi-student rate of $7,900

Families who either do not apply for variable tuition or do not qualify (based on the third-party evaluation by FACTS Grant & Aid) will be billed at the full tuition rates.

SVCS includes a number of mandatory fees within the tuition payments.  Because many fees are absorbed into the tuition billing, families can plan and budget for the year, and help avoid unforeseen bills. However, there are also some optional fees which may or may not pertain to you.
