Advanced Placement (AP) classes are college courses taught on a high school campus. Classes are taught with the goal of giving students an in-depth look at the subject, and providing them with help in preparing for the AP exams which are given early in May of each year. Generally, colleges and universities will award college credits to students who have earned a 3, 4, or 5 on an AP exam. Please contact individual institutions for specific policies.
All SVCS AP classes have been authorized by College Board. Additional AP classes will be offered as interest and staffing allow.
