The High School Fine Arts Department is preparing some amazing things for the 2018-19 school year. We want to share a major development with you, so you can consider it when selecting your courses for next year.
We are pleased to announce that all HS students enrolled in a Fine Arts course will have the opportunity to take a trip to New York (February 15th – 20th, over Presidents Weekend)!
During this wonderful outing, they will see Broadway shows, visit art museums, and more. New York is one of the epicenters in the development of Fine Arts — the trip is being designed so students will gain an understanding and knowledge of the Arts by experiencing them in a place of tremendous influence. When it comes to the Arts, it doesn’t get much better than the Big Apple!
The cost of the trip is $2,500 per student, which includes flight, hotel stay, transportation, shows, meals, and a fantastic time.
Again, this trip is open to all HS students who will be taking a Fine Arts course next year – anything that falls under Visual & Performing Arts (such as concert choir, musical theater conservatory, dance, art, or web design). It is also open to parents who would like to either chaperone or just come along for a great experience.
We hope that you will consider this tremendous opportunity when you are making your course selections for 2018-19. If you have already selected your courses for next year and wish to add a Visual & Performing Arts course, it’s not too late. Please contact the College & Career Guidance office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
