Service and Missions - Loving God with Our Heart and Strength
We believe that if we truly love Jesus, it will be evident in
our actions (“equipped for every good work”). We are calling
our students to a higher standard in their peer relationships -
teaching them to communicate, encourage, forgive and challenge each other.
The Servant Leadership class at SVCS is designed to
empower our students for acts of service by:
• Cultivating a servant’s heart
• Deepening their devotional lives through prayer and worship
• Equipping them with God’s Word to share and defend their faith
• Releasing them to minister to the world.
The Servant Leadership class consists of a select group of students from 7th – 12th grades. Teacher approval is required to be part of this class. Students are actively involved in integrating the Philosophy of Ministry to the
campus. We believe that this group of individuals will be the
cornerstone for leading this campus to Christ. They will be
involved in the following areas:
• Organizing chapels
• Mentoring younger students
• Student-led prayer and discipleship
• Developing missions & outreach
By mentoring and discipling our students to be the hands and
feet of our Lord Jesus, we envision our student body to be the
beacon of light that shines around this community, city and
the world.
Releasing
compassionate, gracefilled
individuals to
impact a thirsty and
hurting world…
“It was he who gave
some to be apostles,
some to be prophets,
some to be evangelists,
and some to be pastors
and teachers, to
prepare God’s people
for works of service, so
that the body of Christ
may be built up until we
all reach unity in the
faith and in the
knowledge of the Son of
God and become
mature, attaining to the
whole measure of the
fullness of Christ.”
